"Compelling. A production with a charm and inventiveness that transform this 18th-century story into a winning fable about humanity's need for compassion" The Telegraph

A band. Some actors. A new improvised play every night.
Our new all-improvised show Made Up is a collaboration with the awesome Brighton band The Adventurists. We had a great time performing at Soho Theatre this April and would like to say a big thank you to the special guests for joining us during the run - Daniel Smith of the Noisettes, Paul Butler of the Bees, and the rather brilliant Björn Dahlberg.

The Salvos worked on the Research and Development period of two new shows last autumn. One is Made Up funded by ACE and is our new improvised show. Long form unites the Salvo’s two primary artistic concerns; impro and storytelling and we want it to be at the forefront of what we do. We’re interested in how live music generates the most radical impro decisions. Made Up is a project in which we develop story-based impro with cutting edge musicians.Read more
