We make theatre that is fresh and inviting, fun, relevant, irreverent, surreptitiously stimulating, spontaneous and, most of all, honest. We feel that insularity and snobbery has left the theatre cold and it is no wonder that many of our friends would rather go to the movies. Theatre isn’t film or television, nor is it literature – what is significant and exciting about it is its “live-ness”, and we place our relationship with the audience at the heart of our philosophy and our work.

The company has made the decision that it will not have a mission statement. We feel that strapline-y statements say something corporate and swanky which is not us. What we are however is;
