We offer workshops to theatre artists. Cartoon de Salvo artists come from a wide variety of backgrounds including Lecoq-based physical performance, street theatre, improvisation and clowning. The company is proud of its tight ensemble skill and trust amongst performers. Workshops are the best way for us to get to know performers interested in working with the company.

The company delivers educational activity through local partnerships. Our programme of work offers young people context and practical usage in non-traditional and devised theatre techniques, and an input and discussion into our work as it develops in progress. We work with schools to create workshops that whilst complementing the national curriculum offer a real insight into new theatre practises and practical tools to devise school theatre projects. 

The Salvo’s have become a major success on the rural touring circuit in the UK. We work with local schemes and promoters in order to take our work to hundreds of villages and communities who are isolated geographically from major theatre, art and cultural centres.   This part of our programme has helped to define who we are and why we make work.
